6 decks · S17 · DAS · Late surrender

You can play a hand perfectly and still lose. We grade the part you control.

Every hit, stand, double, split and surrender is checked against the basic-strategy chart the moment you make it — with the reason why. Your accuracy and your bankroll are tracked separately, because only one of them is you.

16 HARD

$1,240 BANKROLL · LUCK ONLY

You hit Chart says: Surrender

Hard 16 against a ten is the worst hand in blackjack. Late surrender takes a guaranteed half-loss instead of a hand you lose about three times out of four. If surrender weren't allowed here, the fallback is Hit.

Why the two lines diverge

Most apps score you on whether you won. That's the one thing you don't decide.

Deal enough hands and luck flattens out — your decisions don't. So the app keeps them apart: a decision score that only moves when you play the chart, and a bankroll that moves for reasons that were never yours. Watching them come apart is the point.

Decision accuracy Bankroll
100% 50% hand 1 hand 400 94%
Illustrative — one player's first 400 graded hands. Accuracy is skill and it only goes up. The bankroll is variance and it goes wherever it likes.

Three ways to play

Learn it, drill it, then prove it.

Same engine and same chart behind all three — what changes is how much the app helps you before it grades you.

Short sets built from the cells you've failed and the ones you've never seen, so you meet the gaps first instead of grinding hands you already know.

Build the reflex

Practice

Pick a section of the chart and a band of dealer upcards, and the shoe stacks honestly to deal you those hands — no waiting for a 16 vs 10 to show up.

  • Hands × dealer upcard, your choice
  • Real cards, real settlement
  • Take a move back if you slip

The real thing

Test

No chart, no take-backs. Act, then find out. This is the mode that counts toward your rank, your streak and the leaderboard.

  • Scored server-side, not by your phone
  • Tricky cells pay double
  • Chips, bets and settlement in full

Progression

Ranks you climb by being right, not by showing up.

Points come from correct decisions. The hard cells — splits, surrenders and every hard 16 — pay double, and a run of correct calls multiplies the lot. One bad miss and the streak is gone. Then there are three leaderboards to answer to: all-time, this week, and your friends.

Under the felt

An honest shoe. No rigging in either direction.

A trainer that fudges the deal teaches you the wrong instincts. This one deals the same cards a real table would.

312 real cards

Six decks, shuffled properly, dealt off the top, with a cut card that reshuffles between hands — never mid-hand. Nothing is drawn to make a point.

The whole game, not a quiz

Hit, stand, double, split and resplit, surrender, insurance, dealer draw, and settlement — including 3:2 on a natural and the one card you get on split aces.

Rules you set, answers that follow

S17 or H17, double after split, late surrender on or off. Change a rule and the graded answer changes exactly where the chart says it should, and nowhere else.

Checked against itself

The engine plays 100,000 hands against its own chart before every release — perfect accuracy, and a house edge that lands where the maths says it should.

Before you ask

The usual questions.

Is there real money in this?

No. There is no wagering, no cash in and no cash out. The bankroll is a number on the screen that exists so you can watch it disagree with your accuracy.

Does it teach card counting?

Not yet. This is basic strategy — the decisions that are correct regardless of what's left in the shoe. Get these automatic first; counting is worth nothing on top of a shaky chart.

Do I need an account?

No. You start playing straight away and your progress is kept on the device. Add a display name only if you want to appear on the leaderboards.

Which chart is it grading against?

Six decks, dealer stands on soft 17, double after split allowed, late surrender available — with the H17 overrides applied when you switch the dealer rule. The chart screen shows you the exact table you're being marked on.

Does it work on a plane?

Yes. Dealing, playing and coaching all run on the device. Points and leaderboard positions sync the next time you have a connection.
